Wedding Accessories
Favours
A wide range of favours are now available from I Do Wedding Stationery. The range is expanding on a weekly basis. As more brides bring more ideas the range is expanding rapidly! Below are some of the more popular favours being used at this moment in time. If you have a specific request that you can't see, please get in touch and we can talk through your idea.
3 Wicked Candle
These are becoming more and more popular due to the increased amount of civil ceremonies. It can be used as a symbol of both families and the bride and groom coming together as one. They can be placed on either a glass or mirrorer plate and have entwined roses around the base of the candle.
Large Candle
This very attractive larger candle can be used as a favour or more commonly ised for both a thank you and a favour. Around the candle is a wrap normally in two colours with wording of your choice and a ribbon to compliment the theme of your Special Day.
Smaller Candle
This size candle is very popular when being used as a favour. It normally has two complimentary ribbons tied around the centre with a small tag detailing the bride and grooms' names, as well as the date of their Special Day.
Bookmark
The bookmark is a different yet personal favour that is becoming very popular as the design is completely up to the individual. There are a number of photos that could be added or vows, poems, hymns, etc that can be used to really personalise the special gift from the bride and groom.
Credit Card Favour
This very simple yet elegant favour can be placed on the table and add great complimentary colour. It can be designed with your choice of wording and ribbon.
Lottery Ticket Holder
A range of these can be seen at the Wedding Fairs and I design the holder to compliment the design of your all-important invitations. Depending on the design a tag can be added with a small good luck wish from yourselves.
Favour Boxes
A very large range of favour boxes are available in all sizes, colours, ect. It is however best to speak to me direct and I can show you from plain to butterflies and handbags to tuxedos.
Organza Bags
These come in different sizes and a wide range of colours. They normally contain five sugared almonds, however, other options are available so please contact me to discuss other options for fillings.
Bonbonierre
Traditionally these were what every bride and groom had at their wedding. They are normally three layers of circular net with five sugared almonds on a small plate in the centre. The net is then tied with a decoration in the centre of the net. They are very pretty and can add a lot of detail to the wedding table.
Other Ideas
An ever-expanding range of favours are being designed on a weekly basis from money wallets (for playing casino), to small flowerpots with seeds for planting a particular flower. There is no right or wrong type of favour, it is entirely up to the individual couple concerned.
Children's Favours
Children do tend to get forgotten about, however if planned correctly depending on the childs age it could be used to entertain the child as weddings can be very boring for small children. If small, quiet toys are given as a favour the child will be able to entertain itself (hopefully). Toys such as colouring pencils, books, small car, bubbles, pack of cards, etc are some ideas.
